| Mount Dora's season-opening football game, set for Sept. 5 at home against Jacksonville Potter's House Christian, has been canceled. Potter's House, which Mount Dora beat last year to snap a 24-game losing streak, did not renew its membership with the FHSAA, Mount Dora Athletic Director John Hallowell said. Hallowell will try to find an opponent for Oct. 24, an original bye week.
